I have 2 Mercedes that I change the oil and filters on at 77 but I can evacuate the oil and the filter is on top. I can still get under the car but I will be sore as hexx for the next few days. My old Ford pickup I had to start taking to a local shop because I can’t get the filter off.

Most people who don’t read auto forums don’t have a clue about all the bad engines out there. GM is still selling these bad engines in their suvs and pickups. According to mechanics, they haven’t fixed these engines. People are getting screwed.

Weren’t they destroyed. A friend’s father was a mechanic at a new car dealer and they ruined perfectly good cars by pouring something in the cylinders.

I think twice about going somewhere. My vehicles require 91 octane so I alternate between 87 and 93 every other fill up. I know it’s silly but makes me feel like I’m doing something. Always Costco gas. Also try to drive the E class more because it gets a lot better gas mileage than the ML.
