Went to a friends house today and we went through the cylinders turning each injector off and the noise seems to be coming from cylinder 3.

It's 50F outside, just cranked it up and it's much quieter now!! How much moly does Valvoline conventional white bottle have? I may end up adding some lubro-moly to see if that'll make it even more quiet. How much moly does GC have?

Well, i let it cool for about 3 hours, checked the oil and it looks like they overfilled it by half a quart. The oil is to the beginning of the arrow on the dipstick. I don't think it'll hurt anything so i cranked it up. It seems like it's a little quieter. Won't know i guess till it's 100%...

Just brought it to the place where the previous owner got the oil changes. Put in 10w30 valvoline conventional and a valvoline filter. We'll see if it makes things quieter.

I'm currently running a Mobil 1 filter. I believe she was running Valvoline 5w30 before. I'll call the shop to find out what filters they were using.
