Yes many people like to use them metal parts, the metal valve covers are usually problematic, the metal water outlet housing is hit or miss depending on the machine quality and still recommended to buy oem gaskets, but RacerX fabrication makes a really nice cnc one labeled as sonic coolant neck...

This is my second gen 1 cruze my first one the original pcv on the intake manifold failed between 50-60k miles.

Unfortunately I don't think it's worth dyno testing my particular model. But based on mass air readings I'm close to 200 horsepower 😂 Stock I peak at 700 CFM airflow and tuned I've peaked in the 1100s so I'm flowing more than 50% extra air.
