If the car has an OPF, I would probably run the LL-17FE 0W-20 because LL-12FE and LL-04 in 0W-30 is very rare in North America. Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 is the only readily available 30 grade LL-04 I think at retail.

The datasheet plainly says the HTHS is higher and it doesn’t have approvals because no 15W would get an approval but it clearly has the same package as the FS Euro oils. Sorry but you’re just wrong.

The 15W-50 has a slightly higher HTHS (probably retains it a bit better also) and the additive package is the same as the FS 0W-40 and X2 5W-50 now except it has 200-300 ppm additional ZDDP. It’s a good option if your climate and use cases allow for a 15W like a summer car only.

No, ESP Formula was Supercar before rebrand. It’s similar but older and seems to have the less robust VII. ESP X3 and X4 are from the Porsche line of formulas.

FS is still very good, but it has less robust VII compared to whatever they are using now in the ESP 0W line. FS loses more viscosity in KRL test. ESP X4 also starts at a higher HTHS (3.8 cP).
