It took 7 quarts total to fill the pan and filter. Considering it has that much oil and the size of the filter, I don't see any reason to run a short OCI. I'll just keep an eye on it and plan to run it for my normal OCI of 5k.

Most 75w-140 will contain a limited slip additive. If you can find some that does not, go for it. Synthetic 80w-140 is also available and usually does not contain limited slip additive.

80w90 mineral-based gear oil is what Easton has tested & verified to work well with their Truetrac differential. They also seem to have a strong stance on using an oil that does NOT contain additives for limited slip differentials. Do you use the truck in the winter? Tow heavy in the summer?

I am surprised they ran it so lean. If they didn’t make any jetting changes after that pull I would plan on doing some tuning once you get it in the truck.

2020 Ford Expedition w/ 110,000 miles. Drained out Mystik 75-90 that had been in service since 36,000 miles. Oil was a dark golden color with very little metal on the magnets. If I had known it looked that good I would have left it in service. Refilled with more Mystik 75w-90.

Check the valve lash. 10w-30 should be fine, but SAE 30W will definitely be considerably thicker when the engine is cold and may help keep things quiet.

As long as the cooling fins are clean, the operator will probably say "it's too hot to mow" before the engine will. Most of the oil viscosity charts in the engine owners manual go at least to 100F outdoor temperature.

You can still find Castrol HD30 in many stores. I used it a few times in my Kawi V-twin and it worked as well as anything else.

The R750 is alive. Wow - this thing is putting a strong signal throughout my house. I set it up with a new SSID so I could switch back and forth with my existing setup. It appears that I may be able to get away with 1 or two less AP’s in the house.

The build quality seems really good. I am not familiar with the commands for the CLI, so I had to get some help from AI to get POE enabled for some of the ports. I just plugged the Ruckus R750 in and updated the firmware. I will play with it more in the next few days.
