    Chevy Prizm - High Oil Consumption

    I have a 2001 Chevy Prizm with the 1.8 Corolla engine. It uses 1 1/2 quarts of oil per 1,000 miles. It has been doing this for a long time. There are NO leaks at all. It smokes upon hard acceleration and the spark plugs do not look too great. I have read about "stuck oil rings" with this engine...
