    Replaced clothes washer - most new ones have stainless steel basket and electronic controls?

    our old whirlpool just gave up the ghost after 21 years, looked at so many washers and dryers finally settled on a GE washer and dryer, the delivery guys said probably get 10 years out of them at best, they sure don't make them like they used to
