Those labs come short on viscosity all the time. Mobil 1 website shows 13.2. A lot of other 5w40's are 13.5-13 now anyways.

No esters that I could see, are there esters in the X4? They come in many names, hard to remember them all, but i'll have a used oil analysis later in the year, not driving as much as before. Can't find a single other voa/uoa on it. But the engine is running smooth and strong, can't complain.
