    Renault 1.6 16v - K4M

3k is around 2bar, oil pressure relief is 4bar. oil and coolant at +95°C mehanical gauge that's confirmed to be precise, yes, Renault guide says to check oil when the engine is at 80°C but I didn't do it unfortunately. I've bought the Mobile 1 5w50 and will redo the test at 80°C.

    Renault 1.6 16v - K4M

    Renault rn720 - switching to 5w-40

The usage of the car has changed, it's used mostly in city driving now and it has been mapped including a DPF removal. I've put elf 5-40 nf in it which I had on hand. It seems a bit quieter but that may just be the placebo What crossed my mind is that maybe the car was quietly regenerating...

Hello, I own a Renault Megane 1.9dCi 96kw with DPF. Car has ELF EVOLUTION FULL-TECH FE 5w30 acea c3/4 rn720 oil in it per the manual. It is changed every 10k km. The car is driven very hard and has purflux oil filter which is bigger then the rest of the offerings. The thing that is...
