My 2000 F250 Lariat Crew cab, 4x4, 6.8L V10 has 220,000 miles. Original drive train. Always had Valvoline MaxLife 5w20 or 5w30. Uses a quart between changes. Regular Transmission oil changes also, 4R100.- dybeepvw

Ok Overkill, thanks very much; I'll keep using synthetic Hi Mileage 5W-20, Usually use Castrol, Pennzoil or Valvoline.- dybeepvw
