It’s a very good baseline. No you’re not. You do the cam break in (idle it at 3k for 10 minutes on/off until about 30 minutes of run time, flush the oil, then you want to seat the rings by progressively loading the car up to 2k then coast it down in gear (engine braking), then 3k. 4k, etc...

Provide one example where a manufacturer pulled an oil sample and denied warranty because they were able to determine oil approvals from their analysis

I know they use G3 in general, but it looks like AMSOIL Signature Series using G3 is an assumption but was also presented as fact. I’ll just go back to waiting for a Voa.

The signature series? As far as I have read, it is ASSUMED to be Group 3,4,5. But I’m just assuming the posts that said they were ultimately assuming. Not sure if assumptions stack up linearly or if there is some type of logarithmic curve.

The burden of proof for Amsoil is always 100x more than any other oil - but sure keep buying Group 3 oils that are constantly sticking rings and loading up engines with sludge. BTW you forgot to mention, you would be paying expensive employees, operations, etc that entire time. Of course...

That TBN is low for such low mileage.

You and me both. I’d love a 5w-40 racing oil as that’s partly why I’m using HPL BARO on my Abarth.
