My wife is into watches, and has a nice collection. Me no. I like my solar Citizen with leather band which requires replacement every couple of years. For some reason, I now receive frequent Sternglas ads with internet browsing. These are not in Rolex league, but the designs are attractive.

My buddy had an older Subie with horrible misfires. We changed out plugs, wires... Gave up and took to his mechanic. He simply put a generous amount of dielectric grease in each spark plug boots on the coil side. Problem solved.

65 in June. My buddy and I are hobbyists. We are both retired but cars just sorta find their way to us, particularly Subies. We will remove an engine from a high mileage 1998 Forester today to do head gaskets. Our preference is to do head gaskets with engine out. I have had bouts of back pain...
