    We’ve had black glue reported coming out of the drain pan and in vvt screens. Failures no, problems yes.

    Yep total lack of evidence. Run it!! Toss in some extra moly while you’re at it! Maybe even some graphite! I also have a new 26 Tacoma. In 200k miles we can compare notes.

    This one is interesting too. PTFE not only provided no benefit it gummed up the valve stems.

    Any third party official lab testing showing anything good happening with oil additives? I sure as heck wouldn’t add anything to my oil. I do run fuel system cleaner a couple times per year to keep the injectors clean. Techron or Redline SI-1 work well. Watch this. Engineer from Afton...

    That’s a lot of GTL. Not sure I’ve seen any oil that high. Are you sure it’s 80-90% GTL? This sds leaves a lot to the imagination…

    On my Jeep I lube the heck out of the o-rings. Always paranoid about exactly what happened to you. Good choice with the Carquest Premium!
