kschachn, I read their website and ordered the oil before posting here...which triggered all the negative posts to make me suspect. There may be history of previous discussions here but I recently joined and wasn't aware of those discussions.

You are correct it appears. Looks like Triax is changing their product data sheet to state “full-SAPS” and remove “”mid-SAPS” claiming their SA is around 1.12.

Well, I've already purchased this oil before all the feedback. Maybe I'll have it tested before and after running it and post the results here.

Actually, that is not the sequence of events. I posted a few oils for feedback and no one commented. Then I found the Triax product and took them at their word (possibly a mistake). I posted here...and then tons of feedback saying don't trust Triax. So you aren't representing what happened...

Are any of these oils you have in mind mid-SAPS oils that are DPF friendly? Or are they high-SAPS oils?

If you know of an oil with these approvals that is mid-SAPS, please advise.
