Lake Speed Jr Called Amsoil Signature series Diesel oil a Group 3

Every amsoil fanboy I run into uses the argument its Group 4 it’s like a mantra. The second it’s pointed out its not oh that person doesn’t have blab blab degree. Numbers don’t lie. Not saying it’s a bad oil just a great marketing strategy done by amsoil.

Lake Speed Jr Called Amsoil Signature series Diesel oil a Group 3

I think his engineering degree in oil chemistry and his history of designing motor oils with Exxon and racing teams far outweighs mine or your expertise.

Lake Speed Jr Called Amsoil Signature series Diesel oil a Group 3

You know why I posted this was to point out to the Amsoil fan boys that the signature series isn’t a Group IV like they claim it to be and yet here you are deflecting to a whole different point plus I never said that amsoil was a bad product. The video also showed that both oils are great once a...

Lake Speed Jr Called Amsoil Signature series Diesel oil a Group 3

This is interesting I always thought Amsoil Signature Series for Diesel was a group IV. In a video that just dropped comparing Rotella T-6 to Amsoil Signature Series he said both are Group III. See video below. Where he says it is around minute 13:43

    Debating on Three different Tires

I am not saying they are a bad tire. They don’t make them in my size. I cannot put them on my wheels even if I wanted to. You’re point is moot. It’s like you’re trying to convince a diabetic to eat sugar.

    Debating on Three different Tires

It doesn’t meet the criteria of what I want they don’t have it in my size that’s the criteria.the 3MPFS. Is a self certification just like M+S so I don’t go by that. Thats why I have my top three. any tire that claims good year around abilities has to have some give and take. Like great on dry...

They don’t meet the criteria for real harsh winter conditions of compacted ice and snow.

    Which tire protectant?

I use Soft99 started using in when I was over seas in Japan. It doesn’t turn your tires brown. It keeps your tires looking like you just bought them.

    Debating on Three different Tires

Ok here’s the issue I think these three tires are all great tires not throwing shade on any of these. Just trying to decide which one is best for me and my truck. I hate the current tires that came with the truck Firestone Transforce A/T 2. They aren’t good at any one thing and horrible in most...

Why oh why do they do this? 75w85 recommended but not popular on the shelf.

That’s still not free. Free would be able to sign up for that service without having to meet minimum purchases. You’re paying for it.

Why oh why do they do this? 75w85 recommended but not popular on the shelf.

That’s not free. Free means zero strings attached. Just like all orders over 100 dollars get “free” shipping. When you have an order of 95 dollars and you spend an extra 30 dollars to get “free” shipping. Nothing is free.

Why oh why do they do this? 75w85 recommended but not popular on the shelf.

Nobody qualifies for preferred customer pricing you have to pay a yearly subscription to get it. But if you’re using their products a lot it’s worth paying the yearly subscription to get it. I went with Valvoline 75w90 extended 18 dollars a quart.
