No, I did not over tighten the cap. Yes, this is the same length as oem. Every time I post a filter from my mazda and there is a twist there is always one person that says this.
Nope, I bought them on sale. I don't really mess with K&N. Used during the winter because the higher flow rate but don't plan on buying them again. There is always a twist on my oil filters unless I get one with wore backed media.
It is a smooth rubber gasket. Not ribbed. And gasket maker was on prior. I already scraped it off though. Just cautious because last time I used the rubber one it leaked.
I am changing the transmission fluid in my 2008 Mazda 5. I bought a Wix filter to put on there and it came with a rubber gasket. should I put this on there should I just use gasket maker?
The owner of our company is buddies with a dude that owns a shop. They are horrible. I've waited a week for any oil change before. Our van was dropped off the whole time. They don't fix stuff half of the time either. But given that it takes so long for us to get our van back is why they don't...
Ehh, it's in the trash but I did check it out and it seemed fine. I put in Meijer synthetic with a qt of o'Reilly synthetic because I already had the 5 qt laying around and they were paying for all of it anyways. I put a wix xp on.
The oil was ran for 25k as well. It was the silver napa. The capacity was 6qts and a little over 4 came out. Yes the oil was liquid lol. It did have some solid chucks in it though.
Came off of my work van. My Boss finally let me just do it because they don't have time to send it to the Mechanic. 2016 chevy express 6.0. Ol girl was 2 qts low.
I have one on my jeep right now. I'll be changing the oil at 3k so the question is would you like to see it sooner with 3k on the filter or wait a while longer when it has 6k?
I have some 5 year 150,000 mile mopar coolant left over. I believe it is a hoat coolant. Is coolant really all that much different I couldn't use It? I'm not just adding coolant. I am doing a flush.
