Lucas trans fix = thickens fluid = increases pressure inside transmission. Maybe can help compensate for a worn pump and possibly apply more clamping force to clutches.
Type f = no friction modifiers = might help...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks like that. A sunoco recently closed near me and opened as a mobile station. I have since been telling everyone how nice the new pumps are to use. The screen where you input everything is big and responsive.
The gc is a great vehicle. But I would wait until the next generation. I am always blown away by how much nicer next generation interiors are compared to current generation. The current gc interior is nice but can feel cheap.
Depends where you live I suppose. Here in the northeast vehicles can rust fast if not maintained. Hence safety wise it's often better to have a newer vehicle. Also the ease of leasing and not dealing with repairs is nice for some folks.
