They learned it all on their own. The parents were clearly perfect angels.

Morals and working with the public

I watched a show on Netflix about the gangs, organized crime, and cocaine/crack epidemic in the 70s and 80s. Lots of social etiquette while folks were robbing and killing on coke binges.

Morals and working with the public

Just about everything is marked up. When you donate clothes, furniture, etc to the Goodwill, Salvation Army, food pantries, and such they put a price tag on and sell it. And the tax man gets his 8% cut and the banks charge 3% on the card swipe and 25% on back end for interest. This is the world...

I’d go with NAPA oil if you’re already ordering/at NAPA for the filter. Keep it easy.

Highline Warren is owned by an equity firm. I wouldn’t put too much faith in them not implementing cost cutting measures.

    Tractor Supply

Only thing I’ve used TSC for is animal feed and supplies cause they have stuff that isn’t stocked other places. Everything else is too over priced and can be found elsewhere IMO.

So you’re an exception to the rule, which also just so happens to completely align with the rule… Interesting. I am well aware it is not on the same level as behavior analysis for an example. That said it doesn’t take a pure scientific approach to recognize simple patterns in your environment...

Regional Only multi-location gas station chains near you?

I think the problem with the brisket is people hype that up too much when they say it’s the best brisket or it’s amazing or whatever which is completely inaccurate. It’s good for fast food/gas station quality which are main choices while traveling. It is not the same as going to legit smokehouse...

Regional Only multi-location gas station chains near you?

It’s one of those places that definitely lives up to the hype IMO. I went to a Wawa‘s while in Florida some years back and I was very underwhelmed. Probably mostly due to my contrasting experience with Buc ees’. Lots of good memories for me.

I saw a Sinclair and a CITGO awhile back. Both weren’t in very great areas though. Kinda murdery.

Regional Only multi-location gas station chains near you?

They were Texas only originally and used to be sparse. But now they are everywhere in the south. When I was a kid growing up the closest one was Waco which is a couple hours away and we’d drive out of our way on road trips just to hit it. They are still further apart than most chain gas stations...

An older person who swears things/people were better back in their day. It’s called rosy retrospection and it’s a very common occurrence of the human condition. https://www.psychologyinaction.org/2022-5-30-seeing-the-world-through-a-rosy-colored-lens-a-look-into-a-reconstructive-process-of-memory/

    Oil change events for charity

I’ve done things way more “risky” than an oil change for churches and charities. I don’t think this is any different than home builds or digging wells in Africa. I think it’s a good idea - go for it.

You mean during the widespread crack/cocaine epidemic… oookkay, buddy. I’m sure all the crackheads were decent folks who’d never swipe some napkins and straws.
