No need for 20 grade in winter. If I wanted to go thinner in winter, I’d use something like PUP or VRP 5W-30

The Idemitsu still comes out a bit cheaper at about $9.68/qt shipped from Amazon including tax. ($43.99/jug before tax)

My transmission, the A750, takes WS, so the Idemitsu TLS-LV is the equivalent.

Looks like I’ll be ordering 3 jugs of Idemitsu TLS-LV. Thanks, guys. I will update on how it shifts. I do wonder if I should add some Lubegard additive to try and fix that shudder.

Yeah, we don’t know that other oil companies HAVEN’T analyzed VRP to determine its active ingredient(s). IMO, they’d be negligent NOT to do that.
