Pennzoil Ultra back at Walmart and yes, Purolator 20k Gold is replacing the Endurance.

Also, the formula changed when the name changed from “Pennzoil Ultra” to “PUP”.

    The Hudson Helicopter Crash

If that were the case, sure would seem like the main rotor blades would have shattered or broken. In the photo, they seem relatively intact and still attached to the gearbox. But then that begs the question of how it lost the tail boom. Maybe they’ll be able to determine if the gearbox seized.

    HondaJet overruns runway

Turns out jets are more complex than cars. And I don’t think that unconventional design helped them any.

My Walmart has dropped the Endurance for a new 20k Purolator

All FE's gone from Dickson, TN. Walmart. Unfortunate, as I believe it's a better filter than the Purolator that replaced it, but I never ran it anyway, as my longest OCI is 8000 mi (on the Tacoma with M1 0W-40), and I've always run the Fram Ultra.

    M1 0W30 ESP vs. M1 5W30 ESP ?

Dickson's got a lot of hillbillies, esp. down at the Walmart, but we like it! :ROFLMAO:

    M1 0W30 ESP vs. M1 5W30 ESP ?

Only ESP 5W-30 on the shelf currently at my local Dickson, Tennessee Walmart. I bought a jug for the Odyssey’s next OCI. It’ll be getting a couple of quarts of the 0W-30 mixed in since I have a couple on hand.

    M1 0W30 ESP vs. M1 5W30 ESP ?

“Better”… Eh… Not sure if you can truly say “better” unless the 0W-30 meets tougher approvals (it doesn’t), or you’ve independently verified results through multiple UOAs. But if the presence of esters gives you warm fuzzies, then I understand that. :)

    Interesting. What water temp?

What coffee are you using? Are you grinding it or using preground?

Why such a short ratio? Seems to me that the coffee would be strong but underextracted. Are you making a concentrate and then diluting for your final beverage?

I thought about the switch. But now that I have the Aeropress, I think it would be redundant for me. How do you like it compared to your regular V60?

    Coffee - Your Current Brew

If you go to the website, each coffee has a roast level in a sort of bar graph so that you can compare different coffees.

    Coffee - Your Current Brew

For some variety, I recently decided to change things up from my longtime workday brew of Eight O Clock 100% Colombian Peaks. I don’t brew specialty beans every day - just on my off days. But I still like to have good coffee to drink on my way to work, and I carry a travel mug for my afternoon...

    Recently Got an Aeropress!

Seems like everybody’s got their own definition of “standard” coffee size. For me, when I make a pourover or Aeropress, it’s usually 200-250ml. I like to make smaller amounts so I can brew multiple times through the day (at least, when I’m off work), instead of only one or two large cups...

    Recently Got an Aeropress!

Yeah, it’s about 250ml, but that’s not an issue for me, as I frequently keep multiple different beans, and I enjoy brewing multiple small amounts and using different brew methods on a day off. If I want a larger volume of coffee (like, to take to work, or on a road trip), I’ll use my autodrip...

What water temps and steep times are you using? Do you use standard or inverted?

    Recently Got an Aeropress!

Yeah, the original is the gray, smoked style. This is the new Aeropress “Clear”. It’s made from “Tritan” plastic instead of the polypropylene of the original model. It’s about $20 more, but I like the clear.

    Recently Got an Aeropress!

This is actually quite a bit simpler to use than my V60.

    Recently Got an Aeropress!

Similar for me - About 10 years ago, my sister got me one as a gift, and, like you, I tried it a couple of times and didn’t really dig it. But now that I’ve become a pretty serious coffee nerd and have been making several pourovers per week as well as making espresso at home also, it makes...
