    2 cycle lubrication

Also fresh oil is constantly being sucked through the engine and flushed out of the exhaust. There is no dirty oil circulating. The air filter is super important though.

    Sweet Cream Butter

I buy challenge butter, a lot of times it is the cheapest brand. I don't buy the whipped kind too often, my food is normally hot enough to melt the hard kind.

A 2" revolver is not a good choice for pest control. Pest are small quick moving targets, they can be difficult to hit with a full size pistol.

Does adding oil mid-interval extend the change?

One thing to consider about increasing mileage because of adding make up oil, is the % of the total capacity that you are replacing. If you have to add a quart to a 4qt capacity 4 cylinder you have replaced 25% of the oil. On a 7qt BMW 1qt is only 14%.

Try the filter, I always replace the filter when I install a new pump. I believe that is a requirement for the pump warranty.

    Will 5W-20s soon be obselete?

Maintenance is not free or financed at Ram dealers. A couple years ago they came with 1 free oil change, they don't even do that any more. We have had a customer trade in a Eco diesel for a gasser because of the the cost of maintenance.

Does adding oil mid-interval extend the change?

It just depends on where you want to spend your money. Do you want to spend it on oil changes or the repairs that result from the lack of oil changes. Not all oil related failures are catastrophic, like the VANOS solenoids I mentioned earlier. Many people may not relate those repairs to the oil...
