    Diagnosing AC system failure?

If the compressor engages, and is presumably compressing, see if you can get a feel of the vapor/suction line (the bigger of the two) leaving the evaporator. It should be cold to the touch.

    Reverse Osmosis Pressure Drop

Oh man, that's unfortunate. It would be one thing if you were purifying ocean water or some other foul raw water source, but with a presumable potable water source it's a bummer that it goes to waste. Then again, it probably isn't a huge amount of reject water considering the pre RO water...

    Reverse Osmosis Pressure Drop

I would expect the spec for maintenance to reference pressure at reject control valve with respect to volume flow rate of product water. Out of curiosity, what happens to the reject water in your system?

2014 Ford Fusion Ecoboost 1.5L 0w-20 Amsoil SS

I'm impressed. Wonder what other lubes could pull this off? I'm sure some others could, but why mess with success? IMO, anyway. Surely someone will be along shortly to say that you could have gotten the same result with Wolf's Head on clearance from Ollie's, and someone will follow that with...

    Race Gas

Anyone ever use this one? race-gas The dyno operator that I go to uses it. Anti knock from MMT, and they claim to add oxygenates and a couple other things.

    Reverse Osmosis Pressure Drop

Yes, the membrane will eventually be fouled. With such a great prefilter rig, and high quality raw water like you have it will take a long time but it will happen. Regarding my serviceability question, is there a manufacturer prescribed procedure for flushing the membranes with Tergajet or...

    Reverse Osmosis Pressure Drop

The purpose of the prefilter is to protect the RO membranes and reduce the frequency of maintenance on the membranes. They will still require attention at some point. Does your system provide a means of servicing the mebranes in place, or do you have to replace them?

    Pikes Peak and Victory

This thing is looking really cool. Victory have come a long way from those awkward looking first bikes in...what was it? 1997, 1998? Remember the Victory SC (Sport Cruiser)? A full boogy factory supported racing prototype is a huge gesture, and I am glad they are doing it. Many don't know Roland...

2005 SV1000s catastrophic flywheel magnet failure

Good luck, man! Thanks for sharing your experience, I've never seen this happen before.

    Amsoil Dominator

I've used a few quarts of Dominator (Redline when Dominator was unavailable) in my air cooled scooter. I would use Saber in the scooter, but the Saber I believe may be too viscous for the oil injection setup. Both products are Good Stuff. For OPE, I would, and do, use Saber professional. No...

"Helpful" Son SEALED in BUG splats?!

Not really. Chill out, man. They will wash off the next time you execute your wash wax regimen.

"Helpful" Son SEALED in BUG splats?!

The car is ruined. Once Meg's quick detailer seals something into the paint it becomesva permanent artifact. This is particularly true after the paint has been scuffed up with a soapy microfiber towel. You best bet is to get a da polisher and the the most aggressive compound you can lay hands on...

    GSX-R600 Oil Recommendation?

That Suzuki 10w40 (it was in a white bottle last time I bought it many years ago) is hot garbage, and expensive. Bad combination of characteristics. I would lean toward the Rotella 15w40, personally, but that MX4T would surely serve you well. I used a fair bit of M1 bike oil when it was the...

2005 SV1000s catastrophic flywheel magnet failure

That sucks, man. The magnetic aspect of this makes for a bit of a head scratcher. Did you cut the oil filter open? Seems if little or none of the carnage landed in the oil filter then it would be a good indication to how far the stuff migrated through the engine.
