    Winterizing two strokes

I run SeaFoam in all my 2-stroke ethanol based fuel and don't do anything before winter storage (store them wet with whatever's left in the tank). Haven't had a problem yet. I only buy 1/4 gal of 2-stroke fuel at a time so the fuel that's left in the tank is purchased in the fall. I only run...

I've been using Marvel Mystery Oil on my Craftsman leaf blower filter, no issues to date and it traps the dirt just fine.

why do mowers use paper air filters?

Been running the same paper filter in my mower for a couple seasons. I pull it and vacuum the pleats when it starts to get dirty. Figure after this coming season I'll swap it out with a new one. I bought 6 filters for $10 on Amazon, don't know if the seller was trying to get rid of stock or what.

    Start Your Lawnmowers...

Started my OPE yesterday here in OH, hard not to with weather that nice. I treat all my OPE gas with SeaFoam so I'll run the tanks dry and then replace with fresh gas. Never had any issues come spring or winter with the snow thrower.

Ok, I failed to properly maintain my snowblower

I've been treating all my OPE gas with the recommended doses of SeaFoam for the past 4 years. Never had a problem with startup at the beginning of the season and I've not drained any gas at the end of the season. My engines run smooth and I'll continue to use the product as a fuel stabilizer.

    2-Stroke Engine Poor Performance

I use only shell 89 in my 2-strokes and fill the red can with 1/4 Gal at a time. I also add the recommended dose of SeaFoam each time I fill up. This way I refill the can at least once a season and don't end up dumping the remainder of a gallon.

My Cub Cadet snow thrower has a "PowerMore" engine with a Torch plug. Ran it through 2 seasons, no issues thus far but will replace with the NGK equivalent before next season. I run NGK in all my other OPE.

    Craftsman Leaf Blower

I purchased the equivalent Craftsman model 5 years ago. Still runs great, just fired it up today for the first time since last fall. Thought I was having problems with it last summer/fall and discovered the carb needed adjusted. Runs like new (probably even better). I take pretty good care of...

    Probably wont use Techron again

I've had a couple bottles in the trunk for about 3 wks. I'll check tomorrow, hopefully they're intact. Haven't smelled anything in the car, I'm in NE OH so you know what the temps have been like here the past month.

Synthetic really worth it for my new 2013 Civic?

I have an '11 CR-V which also uses 0W-20. Started doing my own OCs this past summer. Went with Pennzoil Platinum 0W-20 and a Wix gold filter. That cost me $30. OC at the dealer is $55 I doubt they use a full syn.

    Difference in B & S spark plugs 491055 and 491055S

My Cub Cadet Snow thrower (MTD PowerMore engine) has a factory installed Torch plug. I'll be replacing it with an NGK 7131 at the end of this season as all my OPE run NGK plugs.
