I'll add that some I can influence prior to oil analysis, others (see above) need to see the results before they will be convinced to alter their maintenance program.

Blackstone shows universal average for aluminum is 13 @ 5K miles. Not sure on the normal drive schedule for this truck, I'll have to ping the owner to find out. I know there is occasional 5th wheel pulling to the lake with the family, but not sure on the day to day.

The previous samples of 5,7,9k were the same run of oil. The wife did 9k in about 7 months on the first run, and 10k in about 10 months on this 2nd fill.
