What y’all recommend for a 2010 Dodge Caravan?

So my niece has a 2010 Dodge Caravan with 167k miles that burns some oil. It’s one of their daily drivers that does a lot of short local trips. They have been getting oil changes done at Walmart and by the windshield sticker it looks like a 5w20 blend is what they’ve been putting in it. It’s...

I know Mobil1 Euro 0w40 has been one of the best versatile oils

Ok so I know M1 Euro 0w40 has been on top of everyone’s list for being a really good all around oil and very affordable from Walmart. Also like that the majority of M1 oils also have 1000 ppm of zinc or better. Lately the M1 0w40 has been constantly out of stock at my two local Walmarts. So I’m...

Post a photo of your oil on dipstick (with miles)

2007 Pontiac Vibe Base Model with 115k mi. on the clock. Due for an oil change this weekend. I’m just a little past my 5k mi. interval. Looks really clean for being one year old and 5k miles without even being topped off. It was the first time I tried Euro oil on this Toyota engine as well. I...

1968 Firebird $27,900 needs lots of work

I love me some Firechickens, but wow $27,900!? That’s high! Looks good from a distance, but it doesn’t look like a quality paint job was done. Just masking around the chrome trim and emblems is already a big no no for me. All that should be removed during the prep prior to paint. Plus the...

Just had some Mohave CUV tires installed on our ‘22 Crosstrek

Been daily driving and some up in the foothills. Feel just as good as the OEM tires we removed. Will update after some more miles.

2019 Nissan Armada Good? Bad? Towing?

It was an awesome 14 hour one way drive home when we picked up my Skylark. Washington to California. My brother said it almost felt like driving a normal car lol! We did take a few breaks here and there. Switched seats every few hours or so to catch up on some sleep. Snohomish, WA Rocklin, CA

Most reliable 10 year-old car that isn’t a Toyota or Honda?

How about Mazda, Hyundai, or Subaru? Just make sure 2011 and up I believe is when Subies went all timing chains

    Subaru Oil Filter Housing Drain?

Yeah that would be alota dirt coming in from the engine compartment so I’m sure it doesn’t go into the sump.

    Post your latest oil change

Yeah it does hang a bit low. Not too worried about it since the Highlander is pretty high from the ground and our son only drives around here locally. Never off road. Maybe on the next one. The FL400S looks like it might be the perfect size in that spot.

2005 Toyota Highlander 2.4L @ 168,845 mi. Yearly OCI. Switched things up this time. I searched that I could use a much bigger filter than the ST4967 on this engine. I figure why not! More oil capacity and filter media can’t hurt right! 😁 I did 4.4 Quarts Valvoline EP HM FS 5W-30 and a MicroGard...
