I can't find any higher octane than 90 in e0. Doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle for as little as I run 2 stroke ope.

How does it run with 10w-30 compared to 5w-30? We have a very similar truck, mines an 04 Z71 xcab, same engine.

What are you guys running in your air compressors? I have a Makita MAC5200 that I need to change the oil in. It came with a bottle labeled P68 which seems to be SAE 20 non detergent oil.

I'd put some gumout regane through it with a tank of 93 octane like you did. Inspect oil after the tank as well.

My dad has a 17 CRV, TSB def did not fix the problem. It's the design of the engine, it never heats up esp at idle and that's what allows the gas with it's high psi injecting to blow by the rings.

At this point seems to be just marketing. Really wish they'd release versions of this for Costco as well as a high mileage version.

I think their cartridge filters are vastly different from their spin on ones, which are the ones people mostly reference.

Now Walmart has a KN filters that are all black. I'm not sure if the construction or effeciency has changed but they all say they're good for 20k miles.

Our engines are GM DI turbo engines, I really don't want to push it. I look for deals on dexos jugs, wix filters and just don't chance it. Currently working my way through the RGT stash and after that some of the napa syn, then it's Costco Kirkland on sale for 11.50 a jug. I figure better safe...

I drive 20k a year and I'd never go that long on any oil. I do 5k.

Yes, I'd have to remove the engine guard, remove the cross member, drop the front differential then I can get to the pan. Really wanted to try this before I went through all that.

I figured trying oil was cheaper and easier first.
