Well, for the 1st time in 40 years, I forgot to wipe the area where the filter goes...yup, threaded a new filter to an old gasket! Kicking myself, but at least it was nothing major...just pride.

05 Pathfinder 100K - Drop pan or flush tranny?

I had a tranny service at 60K and now at 100K, I'd like to drop the pan and have the filter changed. I've heard that flushing a transmission at 100K for the first time could destroy the tranny. What say you, forum?

Is getting a non 3D TV a mistake?

Personally, I think 3D IS gimmicky (as does Christopher Nolan) and I refuse to EVER buy one. Besides, watching movies in 3D makes me nauseated anyway. My suggestion is stick with what YOU enjoy...if you like 3D movies, then go for it. If not, stick with LCD, LED or Plasma (totally different topic).

Been a long time lurker and now I’ve signed up to make my first post… So, I’ve been using Kendall synthetic blend and Firestone’s filter for the last 50K. I have the oil changed about every 5Kmi. Well, I just hit 100K and decided, “Why on earth aren’t I changing my own oil?” So, I went to the...
