New to me John Deere Z915e zero turn mower.

Nice mower! I would use 15w-40 in either the JD oil, or any good synthetic of your choice. The heavier oil will tend to make the air cooled motors run a little quieter and smoother. JD’s full synthetic is a really good oil, but I would use M1 or Rotella in a second and not look back. I will also...

    20w50

That’s funny right there! That was the same exact combo that I ran in mine! In my Kawasaki I use the 4T. I don’t know if all of the Orielly’s had/ has it marked down, but I picked up 4qts of the 4T this last weekend, and they had it marked down to $9.99 per qt. I think the 20w-50 was the same.

    20w50

Have you thought about M1 20w-50 V-Twin? It’s made especially for what your wanting, and I liked it in my Harley.

    so many M1 versions now

Heck yeah, you HAVE to run special hybrid oil in a hybrid vehicle. 😬 Wait till they come out with hmh oil ( high mileage hybrid)👀

    so many M1 versions now

Personally I use racing 4t in my motorcycle, advanced in my 5.0 F150, 5w-40 tdt in my tractor and diesel zero turn, and 15w-50 in my push mower and gas pressure washer.

    Dealer over filled engine (Ford)

I can tell you that being a retired line tech at the local Ford dealership for 38 years, I always changed my own oil. Over those years we did have a couple that did a pretty good job, but some of the others would have been sent home in 5 minutes after starting if I would have had any say so in...

Anyone running classic (old) two cycle outboards?

Yamalube has a lot of moly which is a high pressure lube that doesn’t burn easily and will cause carbon buildup. If you do what Yamaha suggest and use Yamaha Ring free in every tank of fuel you will not have a problem. That stuff is some of the best that I have ever used to clean carbon out of a...

Here is why I wouldn't buy a new "budget" bike.

They sure do. I have had a bunch of new bikes since the early 70’s and the Z900RS is one of my favorites. I had a 2006 ZX10, and while it was faster, it sucked for rider comfort, fuel economy, and the transmission was the worst of any bike I have ever owned. I had a 2016 Harley Wide Glide before...

    All American Drive Service

That stinks big time! I hate hearing about some of these scam artists, but it seems that they are more prevalent every day. I hope you guys get your money/parts back.

I looked up the current Campion boats website and they look to be some really nice boats.👍

Anyone running classic (old) two cycle outboards?

That’s a great motor AND boat combo! Those 115’s used parts like bearings, rods, pistons, rings, etc from their V-6 brothers. They are easy to work on, and very dependable. I have a ‘94&’96 Pro-V115’s and the Pro-V’s were only made in 94,95,96. The only difference is the graphics, firmer mounts...

Here is why I wouldn't buy a new "budget" bike.

Being a retired Ford technician, I have seen all kinds of stuff. The one I remember is our dealership bought about 20 rental turn ins at a auction that came from Hawaii. Anything on the vehicle’s that was painted still looked good, and these rigs were 12 months old or less. A Jeep Liberty came...

Here is why I wouldn't buy a new "budget" bike.

And I should add, please don’t tell Dan Mulholland (you know the main man at Kawasaki of North America) that the Z900RS is a budget bike. You can see his on Brock Davison’s website, Brock’s Performance.com. Dan and his son holds the father/son land speed record on the salt flats, and his son...

Here is why I wouldn't buy a new "budget" bike.

I just have to say I joined this forum so I could say this is one of the stupidest posts that I have seen in a long time. When you drench anything in salt and don’t clean it what do you expect?? Whoever owns this bike deserves what he got from lack of care. You could give him the most expensive...
