I called and spoke with a technical representative at Idemitsu yesterday, and he told me that the IFG is the exact same formulation as the gold bottle oil. The only thing that changed was the name to IFG and the packaging.

CCI Standard and SK (made by Lapua) are very clean .22 rounds.

Well, sell their oil to us or someone who would care. The average end user's order of priorities are price first, color of the bottle second. VOA isn't even on their radar.

Does anybody know, or know of a VOA on Idemitsu 5W30? I'm not seeing it here or on the PQIA site. I'm interested to know if the Moly and Boron levels are anything like the 0W20 HM.

Did I see an Idemitsu 5W30 HM? Because if the Moly and Boron areas high as the 0W20, I'm in.

You mentioned VVT and cam phaser issues. Have you ever seen Schaeffer's oil mitigate or eliminate the noise (rattle) associated with the cam phasers on start up, or just not develop the noise?

Is it true that high mileage oils should be avoided if there are no issues present that people choose HM oils to remedy?

It's EFI, there's no shut off necessary. Always use stabilizer, do not run out the fuel but usually it's almost empty. Probably a single digit of gallons of fuel.

I know quite a bit about this. The rattle happens because oil is draining out of the VTC actuator (intake cam gear). And the rattle is the result of oil being absent until oil pressure fills the cam retard chamber. Thicker oil DOES help, but the spring that acts upon the locking pin is the key...

I read that in Russia you cannot get car insurance without installing a dash cam. I love my Garmin Drive Mini! My only complaint is that it takes too long to load the video files and takes a really long time to export them to my phone.

To answer all that responded so far, I have not tried turning the ignition on and waiting but I did order a tune up kit that consists of air filter, spark plug, and fuel filter. Going to install those items and see what happens. It is running on stabilized 87 octane that is 6 months or so old...
