Glenda, I have a filter cutter that I got from Amazon based on reviews. It looks very nice but I was not really able to cut very well with it. Do you have any advice or tips on using the cutting tools to make them cut better and cleaner?

Right, I get that. I was just trying to clarify that the protection element in ESP doesn't mostly or strictly apply to Euro cars - if there are differences between them and other makes that would make M1 ESP a less than ideal choice.

Not burning any oil that I can see as smoke out of the tailpipe. On 0W20 I probably use 1 quart in 5000 miles. I would say that it's not bad at all for a Honda 2.4 with 278K miles, given their reputation for being oil burners.

You don't see any issues with it being a Euro oil in a non-Euro engine, in the way of the catalytic converter or anything like that, do you?

That's why I suggest playing it safe and changing the filter halfway through the 5K miles each time.

For what they cost anyway, I wouldn't waste them on VRP for 5K miles. I would just use cheap filters - like O'Reilly Microgard - and change them twice @ 2,500 per fill.

I wonder where Hondabond RTV stands with oils made with mostly ester or oils with significant percentages of ester.
