    VOA of UltraLub 75w90 GL4 - Fram/Polaris/Horizon

Yeah, seems that but it yes has additives, simply it's different additive package to Honda. Honda is based in classic ZDDP AW GL4 and UltraLub has multi-purpose phosphorus, other example are Motul, Amsoil, Neste/Valvoline etc.

What MT oil to use in an MTX75 gearbox?

Well 1,7L drained for old oil with 170k kms is very good. Level was not the reason for any shifting quality issue. To see when really cold and next miles when oil work better.

What MT oil to use in an MTX75 gearbox?

Probably it won't cause any mechanical issue, at least at low-mid mileage. Main oil formulation is the same, one is thicker and other thinner eco-climatic-fuelsaver0,005%-cold'ish performance, well... If you buyed it, go ahead and test. But think that tought shifting, if cured with D2, could be...

What MT oil to use in an MTX75 gearbox?

Pre-2012 MTX75 was M2C200-C (75w90 GL4 ZDDP real syn). Post-2012 MTX75 was upgraded to M2C200-D2 (75w GL4 ZDDP real syn). MTX75 was not the only to be oil spec upgraded, 2010-2011 for any Mustang gearboxes changed to D2 75W too, because, officially, cold performance issues, others gearboxes...

    Fiat 9.55535 GH2

About Mobil "meet or exceed" probably yes, I said it before to you, yes, any type of legal permission, test, claim. Yes, probably because how Mobil and others heading it, apart of other. But this is not the question. Oh yes, I writed many "examples" with oil brand and model and clear heading...

    Fiat 9.55535 GH2

With direct injection soot and emissions are higher. It needs help with oil like mid-saps. With mixed direct-port injection soot and emissions are lower. Let's say easier to pass emissions and keep clean. It doesn't need x oil properties for that. It's a theorical reason.

    Fiat 9.55535 GH2

I delete quoted images because simple space saving... Yes. No, at least when Fiat specs has official approval/homologation. If "meet or exceed" were legal meet like approval, then Selenia or Motul had not "approval or homologation" and other oil brands for the same spec "meet, exceed...

    Fiat 9.55535 GH2

Yes of course, but from question-answer to... ¿Approval or Material Specification about Fiat specs? From data the Approval/Homologation is the legal claim, payed, tested from Fiat. Other term like "meet" could be anything, because has not consequences or real commitment from car manufacturer...

    Fiat 9.55535 GH2

ACEA/API use different legal terminology, oil brand can use "meet, exceed, normative, quality level...". About car brand, usually, it has not the homologation or approval from car/engine brand when "meet, exceed, performance...", it must say "approval, homologation, certificate...". It could...

    Fiat 9.55535 GH2

It's a approval, Fiat Powertrain name it as "Certificate for service & aftersales" or "contractual tech reference". Usually it includes any laboratory test against oil requirements or additive manufacturer (not oil brand) approval, then oil brand can get from meet to approval. In this case I did...

    Fiat 9.55535 GH2

Yes, depend on 5w40 requirements. Thing is that M1 says meets or exceeds (no legal valor) about secret S2 requirements, so M1 knows real S2 requirements and meets it or doesn't know and claims it too.

    Triax Synergy Gear SF 75W-80

It's typical GL4 formulation, it's not weak, well not bad at least from VOA, similar as Amsoil ,Motul, Fuchs, Shell... If ZF says GL4 it's ok. Triax recommends it for many specs, probably has not homologation, but others well known oils same.

    GM F40 Transmission, synchromesh?

Official oil is 75w85 true GL4, ZDDP based, false syn good quality. It's spec you should search. Redline 75w80 is very good oil, stronger additive. It's little thinner but will work same or better than official oil. Other true GL4 ZDDP 75w85 options: Redline MT-85 Amsoil Syncromesh (5w30)...

Motul Motylgear GL4/GL5 is it yellow metal safe?

Motul has not both. It's mid GL5 additive. Motul says compatible with supposed GL4. It's "safe" with good maintance (it uses inhibitors like thiadazoline as additive and it goes down with time), anyway yellow metal wear may be higher than GL3/GL4 from any material weight-loss test vs typical...

Russian Oil Club VOA General question: Total 5w30 Ineo MC3

Most well known oils will be same spec production, but probably any Asia or Arabia zone could be different (local production, import restriction or specific product characteristic). Example, there are regular additive package imports from Italy to USA to produce any oils (10-20% product) but...

Shell Helix Ultra Racing 10W-60 (stock fill) / Maserati / UOA very high copper (first change 2,300mi)

For me it's not relevant cooper, it's keeping original oil + break-in time + 6 years. I don't know reasons, the problem if you want to find one, is it and each cold start after weeks or months with that oil and coolant.

    WSS-M2C200-D2 vs WSD-M2C200-C

D2 is last eco spec, very thin oil. C is the classic spec, tick oil. Both are mostly real syn, true GL4 and same additive. If not good reason for D2, stay with C or compatible 75w85/90 pure GL4.
