Depend on what you mean by syn. False syn yes, it's mainly G2+G3 good VI 178 and PP -43. Real true syn PAO+ no. SDS

If you want TOP sport tyre then Conti or Fleva is the way. Kumho is good tyre, but that is all weather, if you need winter'ish tyre then is the way. Westlake lol.

At the end all depend on your needs. I prefer oil with better base quality, cold-short runs performance + right warm protection and more stable properties over mileage, it's 0w range for me vs most 5w. You recon it checking chemical properties and performance over use.

0w40, 0w30 and 5w30 will work similar, but most times 0w is better oil. M1 FS 0w40 is a very good oil, you can keep it, anyway Petronas 7000 0w40, Castrol 0w40 or Eni 0w40 too. Even you can use super M1 ESP X3/X4 mid-saps. Ravenol is good but if I won't paid overprice 20-30€ vs above oils, you...

Some C2 low SAPS (9-10cst @100ºC) will be good from basic spec. Anyway C3 mid SAPS 0w30, 5w30 and w40 is ok too (warranty apart).

Forget Castrol 5w30. 0w40 and 0w30 Euro A3/B4 will be good, even some good C3 like M1 ESP X3/X4. Redline and Amsoil of course.

Like gearbox excellent result, that engine is pure gold and works happy with FS 0w40.

Yes UOA is the real test, supossing same driving conditions, so little changes are ok. Sure both are good, but formulation is very different. If I were using RL I wouldn't change to Amsoil because "doubts", same in Amsoil case.

Depend on case. My last garage used Dupont and said me 30 days ideal, today many years after it's perfect with hand washes and two/year wax hands.

10lb difference is big! I can feel 6lb in feeling/comfort (barely in acceleratio/consumption), I can imagine as huge would be 10lb!

You shouldn't doubt about Amsoil chemical, it's TOP most times. Even they could be using different base oil or even newer than RL, but RL is TOP too, both product are super but very different chemical in these cases.

Castrol is not special on 5w30 and 5w40 and overpriced here. For me ruled out 99% times.

Super result and super oil. Seems engine is little demand on oil or VST chemical is prone to lower visco. How about VST price there? May be other w40 and 0w30 typical there will work similar and cheaper.
