No, it was cutting just fine. I will say that the steel in the blades was very hard. A file wouldn't touch it.
It was a Genuine Honda OHV rider - and we don't have any rocks to cut.

But now that you mention strips of uncut grass - I've seen that from friends that replaced their riding mower...
Huh. I've never bought a new lawnmower blade. Even my 20 year old rider had the original blades when it got retired because of a bad transmission.

My last car was a Crown Victoria. The second deer strike took it out at 274,xxx miles. Dang tank, it was.

We've owned two of those. A 2003, and a 2010. The '03 model went 300K+ and got hit parked. Totalled. The '10 was taken out by the third deer strike at 275K miles. Neither burned any appreciable amount of oil.

There are prominent motorcycle-specific oils that print "JASO MA/MA2" on the bottles but do not display the JASO certification symbol and are not listed. I would think that a major oil manufacturer could be trusted with that.
