Talk about a pain, 2016 Ram 1500, transmission fluid change is a 10 star PITA. Have to raise the rear, rear tires about 10'' off ground to level the tranny, plastic tranny pan has to be removed, filter is built into it, so you need to buy a new one, I purchase a new metal pan with a drain plug...

My mail on average is delivered in the night, anywhere from 6:00 pm - 8:00pm. Several years ago mid day.

My Ram/Jeep dealership had windows that you could look and see the work bays and see the mechanics at work, they're now covered up, no more looking since the new owners took over, a little over a year ago.

Dig a few inches down in a affected area, see what you expose. Grubs are usually just a inch or 2 below the surface. I had that problem and was stunned to find several/many in a affected area.

2016 1500 Ram. Recently changed out the the tranny pan with the PPE aluminum pan, being the oem pan being plastic and able to just change the filter next time. The oem pan comes with the filter built into it. Also the drain plug is so much easier to get to next time. I used valvoline max life...

Just recently replaced the tranny pan on my 2016 ram 1500, with the PPE pan. Nice.

Many ram owners have had good results using maxlife, listening and talking to them on their forum. Also on the back of the jug it states ZF Lifeguard 6, Lifeguard 8, Lifeguard 9.
