    2012 Toyota Tacoma 5,941mi UOA M1 EP 0W-20

The high silicon average I concluded was contributed to me not having air cleaner lid securely attached. I added a new air filter at 90,000 miles but didn't notice the lid wasn't fully secured until I did my 95,000 mile service. Didn't think anything of it until UOA. My bust... Very pleased with...

High silicon average in OA? Solved!

Received an OA from Blacktstone Labs for my 2012 2.7L 4 cylinder 2TR-FE Toyota Tacoma 4X4 with 95,661 miles, 5,941 miles OCI. Everything looked great except a high Silicon average? Blackstone said in comments possible silicon leaked from a recent repair, or possibly dirt making it's way past air...

Around Australia record in the 1970's

Being a teenager and Honda rider in the 70's I remember the CB750 Four like it was yesterday! Great bike and neat video. Being in my 60's now I ride Harley Davidson touring machines. But still respect those early 70's CB750 Honda's. They were the original super bikes that set the standard.

    Oil Honda Goldwing

My first question is: What weight of oil (i.e. 10W30 10W40 20W50 etc.) does your Honda Owners Manual say is required or best alternate for your bike? The manufacture brand used is a personal preference. Of course Honda wants you to use their oil.......

    Complete Brake Flush question.

Today I flushed my brake system. I appreciate all the tips here. And I learned a few things if I need to do this again the future. Hard to believe the Toyota Dealer, Advance Auto Parts or NAPA did not have bleeders in stock for my 2012 Tacoma? Luckily all 4 broke loose smoothly after soaking...

    Complete Brake Flush question.

This weekend I'll be doing a complete brake fluid flush on my 2012 Toyota Tacoma with 93,000 miles. I've already purchased a Motive Products bleeder tool and catch bottles. My owners manual says (along with cap on brake fluid reservoir) to only use DOT 3 fluid. My question is: Is there a...

2019 F-150 when to change gear oil

OP, I come from the same school of thought as you concerning differential/transfer case levels when checked. I'd had questioning attitude also if level was 1" below fill hole. But what if that was correct level? When you drain them next time add exactly as stated in owners/service manual and...
