    Cost to ship wheels today?

Been about 10 years since I last shipped a set of wheels and tires. Weigh in at 52lbs each and 18” wheels. Anyone recommend what the best carrier is today. And are prices reasonable or have them gone utterly silly? I remember it used to be about $50/each.

Suggest I find somewhere that has a roadforce balancer to confirm then?

    New Tires - vibration

Update: Took it back and they said I had a slight bent wheel on the front left. I guess maybe it was on the rear before and we never noticed, and after the new tires were on and it was put on the front its now noticeable. I guess now to find somewhere to repair it and get it back into round...

    New Tires - vibration

If its in "balance" but out of round (so you're basically saying a bad new tire?), are they going to know this on the balancing machine, or are they going to balance them say everything is fine?

    New Tires - vibration

Hi All 2019 Audi Q5. Replaced original tires at 39k. Went with Michelin primary tour a/s, installed at Costco. As soon as I hopped in the car and got up to speed, I feel a vibration. Felt in the accelerator, steering wheel, overall chassis. I've had out of balance tires before, and always felt...

    N55 32k - Mobil1 0-30, new car to me

Thank you! That's really all I care about - making sure I didn't get an engine that was about to explode since it was a trade in at a Chevy dealer who promptly sent it to auction since it was too nice for their lot. Being I have BMW dealer service records since new, I wasn't overly worried, but...

    N55 32k - Mobil1 0-30, new car to me

Right I know, but thats all they told me - so I dont have any confirmation other than M1 0-30. None of the 0-30 are LL-01 so I changed the oil anyway to make sure I have a LL-01 oil. Regardless...wear levels look fine for 800-miles? I would also probably note, on the drive back home (CA to AZ)...

    N55 32k - Mobil1 0-30, new car to me

Unsure... all the used car dealer said was 0-30 Mobil1 FS. I always change the oil on a new car purchase so I'm 100% sure the right oil is in there unless its clearly documented. Ultimately I just want to make sure I don't have anything major showing up as a red flag on this car. I cant imagine...

    N55 32k - Mobil1 0-30, new car to me

2016 535i N55 engine, 32k miles. History shows oil has been changed 7 times thus far, so about every 5-6k. When I bought it, the oil was showing 5k miles on it, so I saved a sample. Then afterwards I found out the dealer changed it 800mi ago....oh well...They didn't use LL-01 approved oil so at...

    N55 engine - 30wt or 40wt oil?

Great thanks all - the Quaker State 5-40w is cheap, comes in 5qt jugs and I can order it from Walmart so unless PPE comes out in 5qt jugs I’ll just stick to this!

    N55 engine - 30wt or 40wt oil?

Hi all, Just bought a 2016 535i 31k miles, N55 engine. Phoenix so no cold temps to worry about. I have QS 5-40w LL01 oil and wondering if that’s good for the long haul or if I should consider going to PP Euro 5-30w for the long haul? Any opinions? Thanks

    Sellers of PP Euro 5-40?

Is QS Euro essentially the same oil?

    Sellers of PP Euro 5-40?

Maybe I'll just stick with Castrol Euro 5-40 than deal with quart bottles and the cost...I mean its $25 for Castrol. Im not sure if PP Euro at twice the price is twice as good....

    Sellers of PP Euro 5-40?

Where is everybody finding Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5-40 in the 5qt jugs? All I can find is in quart sizes. Is there a supplier that has them for reasonable prices?

Reasonable price oil with good shearing resistance?

Zero isnt anywhere close to the truth on the EA888 2.0 TFSI engine. There are significant issues with clogged piston rings. That is why on this particular engine trying to find the best oil that isn't going to exacerbate the issue is the goal.

    Oil extractor longer hose

This should do the trick! I dont think I'm but a few inches off, so the extra 4" I bet would do the trick. I'll pay $20 to feel confident it won't warp on me and get stuck in the pan.

    Oil extractor longer hose

Won't work - This is the tube here > the black rubber adapter goes all the way to the dipstick tube. I just need a longer tube - but something that has a metal rod within it. I just don't know if theres another brand that offers something 40" or longer that would work on my one too. Maybe the...

    Blackstone and fuel dilution

Is there a problem with Blackstone's fuel dilution numbers on their reports? On another thread I have going someone made a comment that made it sound like my prior blackstone labs report's fuel dilution isn't anywhere near accurate. I've always used blackstone and haven't spent much time on...

    Oil extractor longer hose

The tube itself is not long enough - it goes all the way down to the rubber adapter/connector. I can't go any further into the pan. Its not a question of distance to the extractor - the tube itself is just slightly too short.
