    Ford outlives Chevrolet

Henry lived 21 years longer than Louis. Unlike Mr. Ford, Mr. Chevrolet was always up late at night designing quality, innovative automobiles. Must have affected his health.

Parking in handicap spots with no handicap plaq

At restaurants, I always park in the "reserved for take-out customers only". Nobody ever checks, and I do take out my leftovers!

Peak oil? Majors not buying threat from renewables

Electric cars, what a joke. You either burn fossil fuel directly in a gasoline/diesel engine vehicle, or burn fossil fuel in a electrical generating power plant to provide the electricity to charge electric vehicles. It takes massive, huge amounts of "on demand" electricity to charge the volume...

    Hot Tea

Hot tea is so very good for your health, I wonder why we in the states do not drink more hot tea. Iced tea is huge here in the south, but so is lite beer!

Picking up others trash.... Yes or No?

"Don't Mess with Texas" (our catchy phrase to say "please do not litter") There is so much litter along our roads and highways, it is very noticeable when the contract mowers cut the tall grass, exposing all the litter and shredding it to pieces.

Parking in handicap spots with no handicap plaq

Happens all the time, makes me so mad! I just hate it when a vehicle with no handicap tag or plate is in a handicap parking place. Then I have to park my vehicle (with no tag or plate) in a "healthy" parking spot, and inconvenience myself to walk a few more steps. How selfish they are!

    Holidays and feeling down.....

Volunteering with a loved one at a food pantry or a soup kitchen is a good way to spread the cheer, but I have found that volunteering at a oil change business is the best way to beat the blues! Just make sure your baby brings back your old blue jeans, because there is nothing like the smell of...

Walmart buys bulk oil from a huge refinery in China, has it shipped to North America in huge tankers, has it packaged in different color containers (suggesting they are different brands) in a huge facility on the west coast in a double top secret, G-2 classified location. The savings are huge...

    coyotes in suburbia

Chupacabras in Surburbans............ Coyotes are a mere nuisance compared to South Texas Chupacabras! We use whole live gazelles (get them from exotic game ranches) to bait Chupacabras. Late at night, Chupas' will arrive at the bait, usually in pairs, but sometimes a whole family of them will...

"Experts" choose 9mm over .45 ACP? Really?

For all the urban dwellers ..... a 357 magnum is a good weapon, but I've seen 38's bounce off of windshields. No good in a city.

"Experts" choose 9mm over .45 ACP? Really?

I like shooting my .44 mag. with .44 specials, so smooth, but I do like the max recoil from the magnum. Harry, what a guy! Are there many Corvettes in Finland?
