It'll be awhile until my Pathfinder is due for it's next oil change but when the time comes I plan to run the Z8-M for 10K then send it to 53 Stude for a C&P. So sometime next year probably we'll see that.

My filters came today. The Z-14M box was a bit mangled but the cartridge itself was totally fine. Really looking forward to trying these on the Pathfinder and Tacoma during their next OCIs.

They ended up not doing the transmission because it inspected completely fine, they cleared the judder code and it never came back with the new rear end and t case in. However whenever it does finally go, it's covered anyway by the warranty so not sweating it

They just called, it just came out of the wash and it's ready to go. However, they close before I get off and they're closed all weekend so I'll probably be staying awake after my last graveyard shift and picking it up Monday morning.

It'll be interesting to see his reaction, I know he's never seen one of these before. Also -- has anyone found out how many miles these PIAA filters are supposedly rated for yet??

I finally bit the bullet and just ordered a Z8-M for my Pathfinder to use next OCI and a Z14-M to try on my dad's truck his next OCI.

I have a queen size purple mattress and I've yet to find a fitted sheet that actually stays on the thing. I'll get the fitted sheet on and tucked under the edges and almost guaranteed when I wake up in the morning one of the corners have come up. Or I'll wake up and over half the fitted sheet...

Last update. Got a call from the dealership today. Everything got approved under warranty to get replaced. Protective paid out just shy of 8 grand to get everything taken care of. $0 deductible no cost to me for any of this. They actually had to have a guy from Protective come out and inspect...

I live 2500 miles away now so it's the least I could do lol. I asked him if he likes bourbon or not and if not then my fallback plan is a pretty big visa gift card so he gets lunch on me for awhile. Lol

Oh yeah! If my old friend (and prior service advisor) hadn't reached out and reminded me, my dumb ass would have paid for this all out of pocket. He certainly saved my ass, and when I get my car back I'll be sending him a bottle of bourbon 😂

Finally some good news for once. A good friend of mine, who happens to be a service advisor at the Nissan dealer I bought the Pathfinder at back when I lived in Ohio, reached out. After some string pulling and phone calls, the lifetime powertrain warranty from the dealer I originally bought...

Rear diff was 2400 the estimate for the parts and labor for the rear diff already was 3700 God knows how much the t case is about to add... They did offer to get me a used t case for about half the cost of a new one and they're going to call me back in a bit with the quote for that

They just called me. They took it on a test drive and it's still making noise so this just turned into a transfer case replacement as well. I'm ready to cry now.

I used the carquest quick struts on my old cr-v when I totalled it (the first time) and had to rebuild the front end. I didn't have any issues with them.
