    Power Seerng Fluid vs ATF

1991 Toyota Land Cruiser -- any reason to not use Dexron III ATF in the power steering?

    1991 Land Cruiser FJ80

It's old enough that anything could have happened over the past 29 years but I think the front and rear diff are probably stock, I will check next time it's on the lift. Likely yes, open front and rear, this one has the electric (3 relays) locking center diff. 4 speed automatic transmission...

    1991 Land Cruiser FJ80

Owner had rear tires worn down, front tires new, we're seeing 8 inches in 10 rotations LR and 6 inches in 10 rotations RR difference from front tires. Not good, seems to have done some driveline damage. Put two new tires on the back same brand and size as new fronts, seems to be a lot better...

    Question for Adventure Bike Riders

You're right -- it is a TFX shock with the hydraulic preload adjuster option. Thank you for the help! Any thoughts or experience in using this feature?

    Question for Adventure Bike Riders

Any idea what brand this shock is? It has the blue 40-click rebound damping adjustment on the bottom like TFX but I don't think TFX makes anything with the knob on the top.

Best Battery for Light Pickup / SUV

Quote With your parameters, I'd probably say an Odyssey, made by Enersys. That's three for Odyssey, that's where I will start and thank you.

Best Battery for Light Pickup / SUV

Quote IMO Optimas are overpriced for what they are, and really unnecessary for the majority of applications. Good to know. Thanks.

    Adventure Bike Tires

Thank you for the follow-up. I think those Motoz Adventure GPS will be the next tires. As a matter of convenience and expediency we replaced the Pirellis and Michelins (90/10) with the Shinko 705 and while the improvement off-road was certainly significant, I would rate the Shinkos as very good...

    OAT ad NOAT

It's a small Case tractor, don't know what brand engine. Owner's manual refers to a Case product or the ASTM3306 spec. There is a sticker saying it's an extended life coolant installed. Are all organic based coolants that are ELC nitrated? Just trying to figure out what is in there and what...

    KickLite Stocks

Perhaps more to the point, I need to replace a stock on a shotgun, no matter what, I am buying a stock anyhow. I'm thinking that this is as good a time as any to upgrade, at least a little. Recoil reduction is a useful feature. I might also be inclined toward a sliding stock for more compact...
