Back IN 2000-2004 I used Amsoil 0W30 in my children's cars when they were in college, once a year oil changes. This was in Richmond VA so hot summers, fairly mild winters. No complaints on the oil. If I lived in a harsh winter climate I would definitely be using a 0W 20 or 30.

Goodyear would not patch it either, in fact last time I wanted one patched at Goodyear it was in a location similar to this post and they sent me to an independent shop that wold patch it and it has been fine. They are too concerned with liability and just want to sell new tires.

An independent that sells 87 octane 100% gas, so far, after a few years no issues. MPG definitely better with the 100% but a break even cost wise.

The 2019 RAV 4 is using 0W16 with the same OCIs as is the Camry I believe. When you look at what it really cost the dealer to provide the 25,000 mile free service is it peanuts, probably less than $100, not enough to seal a deal for me.

at 230,000 miles why waste your money on a UOA. Unless you are willing to do something dramatic and spend $$$$ on this engine why bother, just drive it until it dies. Seriously, what are you going to do if it continues to give high iron, other than changing the oil more often to get the numbers...

Unfortunately, in today's world dealing with co workers (especially opposite sex or different sexual orientations) has become hazardous to one's employment. Best behavior is mandatory it would seem. Difficult times and socializing with co workers would seem to add fuel to any potential fires.
