    Rental Review: 2025 Durango GT

Exactly, I had a WL limited as a rental last year and those seats were great. Have had a couple wranglers with cloth as rentals and the seats are horrible. Even going back 20 years to my KJ Liberty, same deal back then.

    Rental Review: 2025 Durango GT

Did a trip to Alaska for Memorial Day, got this as a rental from National. First person to rent it, had 12 miles on it when I picked it up (returned with just over 600). Reserved an Explorer...supposedly this is an upgrade for having executive status with National. Didn't have a chance to take a...

    Whats so great about Jeeps?

Mine will be 7 in June - same - drives great on road and is very comfortable for road trips. I can't think of another vehicle that would drive 1500 miles to Moab and then do the trails with as much ease and confidence. Smooth ride and excellent seats and quiet make an excellent road trip...

Thinking of trading in the truck for a Tahoe...crazy?

Watch for rust on the K2XXs. The wax coating on the frames doesn't last long and the rear quarter panels and rockers seem to be rusting out on the earlier ones. Also transmission issues - my FIL has a 16 Yukon XL 5.3 he bought new and it's just over 100k, it's needed a new transmission, along...

    Report your 3.6L Pentastar's mileage

Mileage mileage or MPG? 18 JLU Sahara, lifted, 35s, winch, etc, stock gears, averaging 19 mpg. 106k on it.

Any 3.6L JL Wrangler owners here?

Thanks, I'm always a sucker for black on tan (wish I got more than tan seats tho!). Yours is sharp too! Yup, it'd be pretty hot down there for sure, white is the way to go down south.

Any 3.6L JL Wrangler owners here?

Here's mine, 18 JLU Sahara with the 3.6. 106k on it now, used to run Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 HM, but couldn't find that last oil change so I got Valvoline EP HM 0w20. Always a mopar filter.

    Post your last tire/wheel purchase

Nitto Recon Grappler, 295/70/18 on the JLU, replaced the 265/70/18 Toyo Open Country AT3s.

Ordered Nitto Terra Grapplers for the Tacoma

Nice. Love Nittos and Toyos. Have had the OG terra grapplers and the Toyo Open County AT3s, and on my JL I just put the Recon Grapplers on. Love them all!

Nokian Outpost APT or Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail for '16 Renegade Trailhawk?

x2. the renegades struggle enough hauling themselves around, you don't need to make it worse. the 2.4 tiger shark already burns enough oil, don't need heavy tires to make it even worse

    Gasoline fixed my paint?

I'd try something like this: https://www.autogeek.net/blackfire-agressive-clay.html Use any quick detailer to lube - I make own with ONR diluted. I haven't tried any of these fall out removers, but I've used iron removers before and they work. Use it before you wash if you're planning to...

Nokian Outpost APT or Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail for '16 Renegade Trailhawk?

I ran 225/65/17 Toyo Open Country AT3s on my 19 Renegade TH. Very light weight tire (no performance or MPG impact), 3PMSF rated, quiet, and looked great imo. Did great off road too for what the Rene could do (water was its achilles heal, 3 PTUs in 27k, that's why I traded in for a JL Wrangler)...

Anyone running Large A/T tires that are "quiet"

Have the Nokian Outposts on the LR3. Great mild AT, probably have 15-20k on them Quiet and ride nice, great in the snow. Look nice too. I would say not as aggressive as the Recon Grapplers I put on the JL, but more like the Toyo Open County AT3.

Frame Rust Control - How Did You Do It?

Sand and paint all surface rust annually. Fill frame and all cavities with fluid film or similar.

These are very quiet - Nitto Recon Grappler.

Who else doesn't use tire dressings?

I love it, but you have to find the right one. I like a deep black look with a hint of gloss. Not too greasy. I use Blackfire tire dressing - doesn't attract dust and won't turn the tires black or brown. My tires get all kinds of scraped up from rock crawling, so the tire shine actually helps...
