    I'm at 100k on the 4Runner so of course I need to change mine. I will buy locally at an indy parts store, and really am not looking forward to my second plug change on a V6. Honda Pilot was the first. I've only owned 4-bangers and the plugs took 20 minutes for all.

    I run Fram cans and also elements whenever they're a good deal. They are well made and posters that run them, and take them apart here, prove they are just fine. The Ultra's are really heavy and well made.

    Try here, I'm a member: https://www.4runners.com/forums/5th-gen-4runners-2010-2024.18/ I have the same year and nearly the same mileage, never had your issue. Sure sounds like a dirty or bad ground/switch of some variety. Battery tested for proper constant voltage?
