sounds like you answered your own question,Red line is a excellent oil,Amsoil ss,Schaeffers 9000,Royal Purple ,HPL etc are real good oils,and many others,myself like Pennzoil Ultra, Valvoline EP in my vehicles at least for now make good 0w-20 oils

out mobil 1 (clattery valve train) fram ultra filter ,in Pennzoil ultra and fram ultra,,lots smoother sounding and better mpg. never again any mobil products.............even Royal Purple was better sounding than Mobil 1.

the Pennzoil Platinium 5w-30 SQ,Gf-7 5w-30 is 9.8 @100c and 53.9 @ 40c,,I think the reasoning is the resource conserving ( RC spec) ,the Euro oils do not have the RC spec, and they have a higher hths rating,that is related to the thicker viscosity ,but still in conformance to the J-300 chart...

one point to note,there are thinner 5w-30 oils (like pennzoil platinium) and thicker 5w-30 oils like the euro versions, read and learn the specs and compair to your needs.

kind of looks like a dealer oil,or quick lube places that advertize a $39.99 oil change with a cheap filter,can find no specs on this stuff,,look else where.

just go to Walmart and pick out any 5w-30 synthetic like Valvoline ep or Pennzoil ultra .Royal Purple etc ,keep it changed at proper oci like 5 thousand miles , and filter,then sleep well at night.

defrost thermostat may be incorrect or out of calibration, up plug then plug in to make sure contact is good or replace, and yup it back of the plastic cover, push up on bottom of cover and pull off, to has insert tabs also.

actually I have had reasonably good luck with Hart stuff, good bang for the buck. Its usually name brands (or sort of) with a Hart label on it.

PUP maybe a better oil in many cases, it flows / pumps nice and quick, Castrol, ep is a real decent oil also, my brother-in-law likes the results of this oil in his car,.
