I tried to get more detailed information from Valvoline on their EP oils,they said only what was published, and also Mobil and they too were tight lipped on info. other more less common brands will give or more likely give out better detailed information on their products it seems.

looks like you answered your own question, myself I would use Valvoline R&P 5w-30 over Mobil 1.

Havoline Pro-DS is a excellent oil use this oil providing you can get it as stated.

Royal Purple 5w-30 hths is 3.2 and Schaeffer's 9000 is 3.32,,,many brands premium brands are around these figures,,so think outside of the box.....

how does the engine sound with 0w-16 ? ,,my Subaru sounded very clattery, like a typewriter, went to 0w-20 then 5w-30 PUP,noise is gone. ant the MPG is still very good.

the world of engine oils has changed since 2019 and so have the demands on oils ,,and Mobil has had reformulated many times in recent times, but still meet specs not so much as exceed like in past, along with other engine oil formulators, its a very competive market. Money talks......

Safety data sheets can tell you some what is in the oil, as they are there for material safety reasons only,, and not a manufactures/blenders formulation recipe which is regarded as confidential information, what actually is in the oil is to be determined by much more extensive tests and not...

Pour point is only part of the usefulness of the engine oil,,CCS and MRV plays a large point of the oils ability at cold startup at their given viscosity at a set temperature, read some past threads to learn about this.

time will tell, myself I buy stuff at a store as much as possible.
