is there a owner's manual to look at first??,there you may read and go over the cleaning instructions together with the owner of the machine and clean/service filters etc expressing concerns when they are right there, releaving you of some possible repercussions if something goes wrong.

Fram Ultra filters work well is what I found on studying the subject too, they filter well 99%+ at 20 microns, and good flow with a decent anti-drain back valve, , and easily found at Walmart with a reasonable price. though there a lot of brands and just opinions out there, good luck on this one.

probably a nlgi 1 grease would be what is used with moly. a number nlgi 2 may channel too much.

the Valvoline 5w-30 R&P would be a good choice. or Royal Purple HMX 5w-30 if you want to step out into something new here,,,,though many good choices, providing you keep your oci sensible like 5k with short trips maybe good. if you want longer oci Amsoil makes fine products too.

get some spray grease in a aerosol can at some farm type storeand work a little in the more than likely sloppy ball bearing, it will work for some time. or put a needle fitting injector on your grease gun tip (usually used in sealed automotive boots etc) and try to get some multi grease in it.

look for a calcium-based grease like Mystik JT-6 in the green tube, reasonably priced and would work fine in this situation.

have used Pro-Ds in some of my previous vehicles, its a very good oil with great results, and I would stand it up to the holy grail Mobil 1,and it (Havoline Pro-Ds) has some PAO in it per pds if it matters. it is a different formulation than the life-long oil though.

Both are great oils,they would be my choices over the other brands at Walmart. Even Quaker State Ultimate is a fine oil to consider.

just per chance, does it have a air filter, if so remove it temporally and see if this changes this, and is there a fine filter screen from the fuel line inlet to carb. housing, you may want to check for this as a small amount of stuff can slow fuel flow, and make sure gas cap is on correctly.
