Yep..1/4 turn stops when possible. Sometimes not possible so ya gotta fix the oil one. And yes a standard washer will fit over the barb..just gotta eat your Wheaties...and waterproof grease when reassembling and on that washer also..it will go.

    Toilet Wax Ring Clearance ?

Fluidmaster makes a good closet seal for this situation. Here in the old northeast the american standard toilets of the 1920's had the outlet a good 2 inches past the toilet base. Would extend well down inside the waste line. I figured they got broke fairly easy during the train ride so they...

    9.9hp 2t outboard oil help

As above...heat at idle and slightly above is your friend. Thermostat on that model is easy to replace if needed. 140-150f at low speed is correct. I run 32/1 on mine with little smoke...there should be some smoke though. I can only put my hand on the thermostat for 2 seconds or less at trolling...

imho..oil in a 2 stroke has one job...lubricate. Many want less smoke, maybe some detergent to keep things from sticking like rings. 2 stroke oil of today is formulated to do other jobs also other than lubricate. I could not care less about those other things. I want film strength for my piston...

No No! The lubricating oil from WM is not motor oil. It is brightstock for pass-through applications. Aviation piston engines usually don't use motor oil like what we discuss here..

What to do if a small hex screw is rounded in tub faucet handle?

That is not the handle in the other pic. If that particular moen handle has a bad set screw I would cut off the end of the handle leaving an opening for a phillips screw to be backed off. Then I would get another handle. I get a least 1 moen faucet to repair per week for the past 40 years. When...

What to do if a small hex screw is rounded in tub faucet handle?

...that does not use set screws. The whole handle and trim remove together. Looks like a Delta that one buys the handle insert separately..either chrome or porcelain. Moen also has a newer style that the handle and trim are all one...whole assy simply unscrews reveling the cartridge.

What to do if a small hex screw is rounded in tub faucet handle?

Usually with that style of handle the whole assy unscrews...trim and the handle together. The op was about that moen chateau or the positemp in the pic....not sure what your point since that style doesn't use set screws.

What to do if a small hex screw is rounded in tub faucet handle?

Drill end of handle so ya can just unscrew the Philips head screw out of the adapter. Ya have to get close to center of the handle to get to the screw. Usually those set screws are very hard and screw up the drill before much material is removed. Backing out that Phillips head screw is alot easier..
