Would you all like to see ISO 4548-12 Oil Filter Lab Testing Comparison, Efficiency & Capacity, Pressure vs Flow, Bubble Point, and Burst?

Don't worry about that everyone is pretty thick skinned around here and enjoy a robust argument, that's usually a good thing. Thanks for your time and efforts.

It was a fair way from your own science, be clearer. We are on a forum, we don't have the luxury of immediate implied posted interpretation. If you have some free time I am interested on the date code for the Purolator Boss, it seems odd that it didn't meet its advertised efficiency claim. There...

Liqui Moly Ceratec vs Lubegard Biotech

I think lubegard works best as a cleaner and only a mild friction reducer. My oil filter after using Lubegard had a little bit of sludge in it that I had never seen before so it was definitely cleaning. The MoS2 seems to work best as a dedicated friction reducer. However, I would likely try a...

Would you all like to see ISO 4548-12 Oil Filter Lab Testing Comparison, Efficiency & Capacity, Pressure vs Flow, Bubble Point, and Burst?

It wasn't your post. It was a post by @Ascent Filtration Testing 'Filtration does not become less important if you change you oil more frequently. It is still very important. Particle's cause wear, less particles cause less wear, yet certain size particles can cause more wear then others, no...

Would you all like to see ISO 4548-12 Oil Filter Lab Testing Comparison, Efficiency & Capacity, Pressure vs Flow, Bubble Point, and Burst?

Yes that's fine but it was implied in a previous post that was not the case. The example given was in regard to a 'knock off' filter not a genuine or common mid grade filter. I am aware of the science in the thread. I'm happy to run the most efficient filter I can on every short OCI but you lot...

Would you all like to see ISO 4548-12 Oil Filter Lab Testing Comparison, Efficiency & Capacity, Pressure vs Flow, Bubble Point, and Burst?

Yes but OCI is a factor we are now being told it is not. How many particles under 20 microns with mid efficiency filter at 3k vs a high efficiency filter at 15k?

Nulon Racing oil vs. Motul 300V

Yea I saw that but the other wear metals are low, if tin is high their is usually increased wear in the other metals as well. Not sure, I would run the 5w-40 and see how it goes. You can always send Nulon an email as well, they have been really good at answering questions and sending VOA's on...

Nulon Racing oil vs. Motul 300V

Yep it has a little tin in it from manufacture. How high were the levels. Yea I always wait for the sparesbox sales haha

Nulon Racing oil vs. Motul 300V

Its mid range for 'thickness' but PAO/AN and the additives make it a low friction oil. You won't be disappointed I'm running the 5w-50 atm. You can get in on sale a few times a year through sparesbox and sometimes some other distributors.

Yea I brought that up at the time trying to find out the manufacture date on the boss. It was a fairly recent change on the boss efficiency.

"2.1 sec 0-60" run then dust off a GT-R. Charge only went down from 80 to 79%

They only run 11 sec 1/4 mile times, plenty of street cars quicker than that. Good for the traffic light races if you into that.

HEMI Oil Pressure Issues (Oil Filter Related)

I would run a K&N Gold to be completely safe but service intervals might need to change. If that's not possible, run one of the recommended filters. I run 5w-50 on a high powered turbo car and any of the super high efficiency filters would be in by pass a lot of the time especially at full...

    Keep K&N or NOT ?

This thread continues to be daft, I'm talking about stock airbox and filters. I'm quite aware of the street modification scene in the USA.

    Keep K&N or NOT ?

Bit late to this one @OVERKILL I have already had warnings and posts taken down because everyone decided to shoot the messenger. I was just informing members on here that it was done. Also, not many Australian street cars making nearly 700rwhp on e85, doubt there are many American ones either.
