Finding a good "cold weather" vehicle?

I watched a YouTube video where the guy just flushed his heater core with fresh water to get out the sediment and old coolant and his heat worked WAY WAY better. It was an eye opener.

Are the plastic battery trays necessary?

The larger tray is like $8 to $10, straight from Honda. Just do the correct thing and order the correct battery tray.

toro super recycler with b&s engine HomeDepot

That 190cc engine has a pull cord. Just remove the battery if you are not interested in the electric start feature and use the pull cord. 190cc engines are a beast and will power through tall grass.

toro super recycler with b&s engine HomeDepot

I came here to tell the OP how mistaken he must have been, because the Super Recyler is ONLY sold at Toro dealers, and not big box stores. But low and behold, the HD website has two models of Super Recyler sold on the website. Also comes with new black paint on the deck, which might...

    Stupid 7317 Filter Wrench Question

I've owned several 2.4L Honda/Acura cars with the same tight fit and I always used the Lisle tool pictured above. In fact, I find it to be the best designed oil filter wrench I have used. Originally Posted by krismoriah72 The hyper tough version of the Lisle is $2.50 at Walmart.. not sure if...

As someone that puts thousands of dollars worth of ammo down range every year, just get a bore snake or ripcord.

The Taurus or the Glock should be on the radar, in my opinion.

No love here for the M&P Shield 2.0 9mm?

I've owned a gen 1 Shield 9MM and a gen 1 M&P 9MM. Both are serviceable, but ho hum guns. They both are long gone. I have a gen 2 M&P 9MM, and I far prefer it over the gen 1 model. I do really like this pistol. That being said, it will never replace the numerous Glocks that I use for home...

    Favorite 3/8 Ratchet

Stanley extendable ratchet. Its the cheapest ratchet in my tool drawer, but I use it the most. When I extend the handle, I can get serious torque on the fastener. Should be reaching for a 1/2 drive, but I just beat the snot out of it, and it never fails. Ive owned one of these ratchets for over...

    Magpul bipod

It LOOKS cheap as all get out, but I think I heard that the legs are steel reinforced and that they put a lot of thought and engineering into the design, so they SHOULD be good. I will probably put one on one of my rifles that currently lacks a bipod.

Radiator Life / When to replace

My mother in law came bragging that she just replaced her radiator. "What did you just say?", I said. Again, she told me that she paid a shop $1000 to change her radiator. Was it leaking, I asked? "No." She said. The shop said it was a good idea to change it, because it would surely leak soon...

    Pistol question

As a gun carrier, I find the LCP to be an absolute necessity in any gun collection, for folks that carry 365 days a year. Its not my every day carry firearm, but I do carry one probably once or twice a month while wearing a bathing suit and I'm just running to grab some milk or something. It...
