I was always told to replace the plugs with the OEM Plugs. I have heard that if you switch it hurts the performance and ingition parts. Is this true??

I am thinking I am going to try going with a 5w20 oil. I need all the MPG I can get. I am sure its not going to harm the engine. Maybe I will mix it with some 5w30. Thanks for all the info. I love this site.

Has anyone tried this oil in a 04 Hemi?? I am about to try Petro-Can 0w30 next.

I think I am going to go and buy some PC 0w30 tomorow for a winter oil change. I have some mobil 1 5w30 I was going to put in. I also have some Castrol 10w30 that bought on sale. Might use it next summer. I am hopeing I can blend it with some 5-30 and it should be fine for my Hemi.

I am just looking into GC 0w30. I seen it at wall-mart last night. I can get Petro-Can 0w30 for cheaper. In the summer I will most likely run a 5w30 oil.

I guess I will be sticking with a wix unless someone can convince me to dry something differnt.

Is the Petro-Canada Supreme 5w-30 better or worse then the Castrol GTX 5w30. I was also maybe considering useing the Petro-Can synthitic 5w-30 or Castrol Syntec 5w-30. Does anyone know if this Petro-Canada oil is any good??

I just bought a 2004 Ram 1500 with the Hemi. I checked the book and it recomends 5w30. I have been reading that people are useing 5w20 with no problems. What oil should I use.

Wix 51085 vs Fleet Guard LF3604. I am considering useing one of these two filters. I like wix and use wix on my Honda Accord. A mechanic at work is trying to get me to use Fleetguard for my Hemi. What would be the better one. Another Question is do all Fleetguards have stratapore media?

The Hemi I am about to buy is a 2004 so it doesnt have the cylinder deactivation... I still would only use 5w20 because I am going to need all the mpg I can get. I thought about blending it but from what I am reading here its just not worth it.

The car I was going to put it in is a Sunfire GT 2.4L. I might be buying a Hemi later on this week. I dont think I am going to risk useing this type of oil. I might reconsider it in the summer maybe blending it with some 5w20.

I just thought that some people switch between 5w-20 and 5w-30 with no problems then why not switch between 5w-30 and 5w-40. I know I might lose some mpg but both there web pages claim it can be used in a Gasoline Engine.

I would be useing it in two cars. The first one would be is a 99 Sunfire GT with the 2.4L It has 120,000kms on the engine. Driven in Calgary most of the time. The other car is a 01 Celica GT with a 1.8L. It has 90,000 kms on it. Both cars sit outside and sometimes dont have access to a block...
