The Syntec should serve you well Ive ran it in my GM for a few OCI and noticed that It ran a little quiter than Mobil 1 Im currently running Edge and plan on doing a UOA. Castrol makes a great product. I just think they go overboard with thier marketing ads.

GTX sounds good Im actually running Edge right now. and it usally only gets down to the mid 20sF in the dead of winter

4.3's = Very durable engines any 5w30 or 10w30 should do fine you could even extend the drain to 5K. I like Castrol my self. but its all up to you. and Dexcool really isnt to bad if you FLUSH you system but it has led to alot of problems turning to sludgy grit and distroying head gaskets etc.
